From humble beginnings to your doorstep with smiling faces and positivity. Fixit DFW Handyman is a Family owned small business conjured up out of a one bedroom apartment in Grapevine, Texas. This business was started to solve some of the most frustrating issues homeowners face when dealing with contractors. Our motive is to make the process as easy as possible for our customers which are the most important aspect of any small business just like this one. When you call Fixit DFW to work on your home you can expect us to be honest about our work. We always keep great contact with our customers to ensure full transparency throughout the project at all times. Quality will never be a question when working with us. Our Pros are screened and highly experienced with skills tailored to your needs.
When you reach out to us for home repair projects we are immediately receptive and ready to help you get the ball rolling. We will first get some information about the project to confirm that we will be a good fit. Once we have confirmed that the work is within our scope we will ask for a good time for us to come have a look.
Depending on your needs, we will typically send our pros to estimates prepared to get started on the project. Once a price has been agreed upon our office will work up a proposal and send by email to act as the agreement contract and invoice.
For smaller projects, we will first do a walk-through with our customer before going to the store to pickup materials. In most cases we will buy the materials with no upfront cost to the customer and bring a copy of the materials receipt for reimbursement of the materials on top of labor when the project is successfully completed.
For larger projects we may ask that the customer pay %50 of the total up front to start which covers materials and working capitol for our Pros. For larger projects we will calculate the cost of materials and labor before beginning the work.
Upon successful project completion a paid receipt will be issued if requested.
We calculate our labor costs based on the time it takes to complete a project and the difficulty level of the work. For projects that are 2 hours or less we will charge our minimum.
Material cost on smaller projects will be reimbursed to us on top of the labor cost when work is complete. For larger projects the cost of materials will be calculated into the proposal/ invoice along with the cost of labor.
Payment will always be due immediately upon full completion of the project as outlined in the final agreement contract.
